Venezuela and America talk about energy and bilateral relations in Caracas – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to the Mehr news agency, quoted by the Russia Elium network, the interim president of Venezuela, Delsey Rodríguez, and the US energy secretary, Chris Wright, met in Caracas.
According to this report, the two sides discussed issues related to the energy sector as well as bilateral relations.
This meeting takes place while not long ago, the US Department of Treasury, in an action contrary to international standards, announced that it will only allow Venezuela to export oil if this work is done under the supervision of Washington.
This ministry announced in a statement: We will issue permission to extract, export and buy and sell Venezuelan oil if this operation is carried out by a legal entity registered in the United States.
It was stated in this statement: The operations related to Venezuelan oil will not include transactions with Russian parties.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced opening Venezuela’s energy sector to American companies and their access to oil production, along with using oil revenues to buy American goods, among Washington’s demands from Caracas.
The kidnapped president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, declared the country’s oil pirates as the final target of the US attack on his country.
The interim president of Venezuela also emphasized the resistance against the extravagance of Washington.
