According to the Mehr news agency, citing the National Cancer Research Institute, Dr. Zahra Sadat Moshir, a member of the National Women and Family Staff, during a visit to the National Cancer Research Institute’s Center for Academic Jihad, considered this collection to be a symbol of the “scientific jihad that arose from the Islamic Revolution” and emphasized: What is seen today in the National Cancer Research Institute is the result of sincere intentions, reliance on young human capital, and a deep connection of expertise and commitment. A model that can create stable security and peace in the most difficult areas of people’s lives, i.e. the field of health.
At the beginning of this meeting, which was attended by the Vice President of Research and Technology of Academic Jihad, the head of the National Cancer Research Institute, and a group of managers and academic staff members of the institute, “Dr. Sadat Moshir” at the beginning of his speech congratulated the Eid Al-Fajr, called Academic Jihad the blessed birth of the Islamic Revolution and stated: Academic Jihad was formed from the beginning with the view that the people should work for the people. This institution is born from the same spirit that brought people to the field to help each other in the first years of the revolution and later showed itself in bigger fields, from sacred defense to scientific and technological advances.
He added: What we see today as the achievements of academic jihad is the result of the maturity of the original thinking. A thinking in which expertise, commitment, innovation and jihadi spirit come together and a committed human force can bring the country to success in complex and sensitive fields.
Referring to the level of activities of the National Cancer Research Institute, the member of the National Staff of Women and Family said: Today, we see that this group operates in areas that only a limited number of developed countries can enter seriously. The National Cancer Research Institute is not only providing advanced medical services, but also in the field of research and technology, it has reached a level that can compete with world-renowned centers.
Moshir emphasized: These achievements were not achieved by chance. Behind these successes, there are years of sincere effort, scientific effort and a long-term view of the country’s development; A view that is rooted in the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and the blood of jihad martyrs.
Stating that illness is one of the most difficult areas of human life, he stated: When human health is disturbed, all dimensions of his existential security are affected. This insecurity is not only limited to the individual, but also involves the family and even society. Therefore, the activity in the field of health, especially in the field of difficult diseases such as cancer, is a very big and effective work.
Moshir added: The service you provide at the National Cancer Research Institute is comparable to the country’s power creation in the fields of defense and security in terms of social and human impact. Just as military capabilities create deterrence, your scientific and therapeutic activities also bring psychological security, hope and peace back to families.
Referring to his personal experience of this center, the member of the National Staff of Women and Family said: “Before, as an ordinary person, I brought the disease to this center to observe the service situation closely.” What I saw in that experience was humane treatment, order, accuracy and high quality of service. Without exaggeration, I can say that the National Cancer Institute is one of the best centers providing services to cancer patients in the country.
He continued: “Today, during this visit, I saw the same spirit of responsibility, compassion and hard work in the complex.” This is a matter of pride and shows that the path chosen was a correct and effective path.
In another part of his speech, Moshir mentioned his visit to the technological achievements of the National Cancer Research Institute and said: “During this visit, I came across a series of products, technologies and innovative ideas that were truly amazing.” Many of these achievements are the result of the efforts of expert and creative young people who have been able to provide local and advanced solutions by trusting in the domestic power.
He added: Sometimes it is thought that sanctions and restrictions close all ways, but experiences like what we saw today in this research institute show that relying on youth and human capital can turn threats into opportunities. The products produced in this collection, in some cases, even countries with a long history in the field of development have not achieved it.
Emphasizing the importance of human capital, the member of the National Staff of Women and Family stated: If we can properly respect our human resources, especially the youth, and place them in their rightful place, we can hope that many problems and disorders in the country today can be solved.
He continued: Our youth are capable, creative and motivated. What they need is trust, support and the provision of a suitable platform for the manifestation of their abilities. The National Cancer Research Institute is a successful example of this approach, which shows how trust in young people can lead to brilliant results.
With a sociological view of global developments, Moshir said: Today’s world is a world of competition; A wide competition that sometimes pits man against man himself. The result of this type of competition in some societies is loneliness, isolation and exhaustion of people; Issues that can be clearly seen in developed western societies today.
He added: If we want to stay away from these injuries, we must choose a different path. A path where empathy, camaraderie, teamwork and collective movement for greater goals are prioritized. What is seen today in the National Cancer Research Institute is a manifestation of this human and community-oriented perspective.
The member of the National Staff of Women and Family noted: Real development is not only limited to material and technological advances. It is a sustainable development that pays attention to human and spiritual aspects along with science and technology. Collections like the National Cancer Research Institute, with the spirit of sincere service and attention to the human dignity of patients, can be a model for such development.
He continued: These work friendships, these companions and these collective efforts can be fruitful not only for today’s world, but also for the hereafter. When something is done with the intention of serving people, its effects and blessings will be beyond material calculations.
At the end of his speech, Mushir thanked the managers, researchers, doctors and staff of the National Cancer Research Institute and said: I say goodbye to all of you and thank you for your continuous and sincere efforts. Be proud of yourself that you have stepped on a path that will bring peace, hope and life again for patients and their families.
He expressed his hope: I hope that with the continuation of this path, we will see the expansion of these services and the shining of Iran’s name in the scientific, human and spiritual fields, and we will build an empathetic, friendly and desirable society for future generations.
