According to the Mehr news agency, quoted by the Palestinian Shahab news agency, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Moveme (Hamas) issued a stateme in response to the start of the implemeation of the law on the execution of Palestinian prisoners and stated that the occupation’s action in speeding up the adoption of this law and preparing practical mechanisms for its implemeation reveals the true face of the Tel Aviv regime, which is based on bloodshed, organized crime and mass punishme, and is a clear challenge to all iernational and humanitarian laws and charters.
According to this report, these unprecedeed tension-raising measures are in line with the policy of gradual killing that the occupation forces apply against Palestinian prisoners. With their sadistic policies, the Zionists put systematic torture in prisons on the agenda and expose the prisoners to torture, medical neglect and deliberate starvation on a daily basis, which is a clear coinuation of the genocide against the Palestinian nation.
Hamas asked the United Nations, all iernational legal and humanitarian institutions and free people of the world to take immediate and active action to support the Palestinian prisoners and stop this dangerous crime started by the occupiers.
At the end of this stateme, it is stated: Our heroic nation will not remain sile in the face of crimes against prisoners, and the issue of prisoners will remain at the top of our nation’s priorities uil regaining full freedom, and all those who have been accomplices or partners in prison crimes will be prosecuted.
Channel 13 of the Zionist regime’s television announced yesterday that the law on the execution of Palestinian prisoners was approved in the first stage of the regime’s Knesset, and it includes prisoners whom Tel Aviv accuses of carrying out attacks or planning them.
According to the set program, a special group is supposed to be created for the execution of death seences, the necessary procedures and instructions will be developed and the executive forces will receive the necessary training. Selection of team members is voluary and the guards undergo special training. According to knowledgeable sources, the executions will be carried out within 90 days after the final verdict.
According to this plan, first the executions will include the main members of Hamas who participated in the attack on October 7, 2023, and then the prisoners that the Zionist regime has declared as “dangerous”.
The proposed law allows for the execution of any Palestinian who kills an Israeli citizen, but it cannot be implemeed for Israelis who kill Palestinians.
