According to the Mehr News Agency, quoted by the Russia Elium network, US President Donald Trump, in a series of harsh statements against Canada, said: Canada has treated the United States extremely unfairly for decades.
Trump went on to make achievements for himself and his country and claimed: Now the situation is changing in favor of America and this change is happening very fast.
The President of the United States continued to attack the Democratic President of his country and said: “Barack Obama, the former president, stupidly gave them (Canadians) an exemption through which they were able to bypass the “Buy American goods” law and not use any American products, including our steel.
Trump said: “The Canadian government expects that I, as the president of the United States, will allow them to simply take advantage of the United States.”
He continued by severely criticizing Canada: What does America get in return? Absolutely nothing.
Trump also said about Canada’s foreign policy: Prime Minister Carney wants to make a deal with China; A country that will swallow Canada completely and only small pieces will remain for us. I do not accept such a thing.
Referring to the tariffs, Trump said: The tariffs that Canada has imposed on American dairy products for many years are unacceptable and have exposed our farmers to serious financial risks.
He pointed to the bridge that is going to be built between America and Canada and said: I will not allow the opening of this bridge unless America receives full compensation for everything we have given to Canada.
In the end, Trump said: Canada should treat America with the fairness and respect that we deserve.
