
According to the , citing the Research Institute of Fundameal Sciences, the Breakthrough Prize in Fundameal Physics in 2025 has been awarded to the iernational collaboration of CMS at CERN.
The award recognizes the collaboration’s outstanding achievemes in precise measuremes of the Higgs boson, the discovery of new strongly ieracting particles, and the study of rare processes that have coributed to our deeper understanding of the structure of nature at the smallest scales.
The researchers of the Institute of Particles and Accelerators of the Institute of Basic Knowledge (IPM) are among the recipies of this iernational award, as one of the active members of the CMS collaboration.
This honor is the result of years of scieific, technical and executive efforts of CMS team members in the research institute in one of the most advanced scieific laboratories in the world.
