According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, the head of the Palestinian Authority announced in a statement this evening that the new approvals of the security cabinet of the Zionist regime regarding the West Bank are part of the “plan to annex the West Bank and try to change the population structure” of these areas.

It is stated in this statement that Israel’s recent decisions have created unprecedented tension against the national and historical rights of the Palestinians and are a clear violation of the agreements signed between the two sides.

It should be noted that today the security cabinet of the Zionist regime has approved a series of new decisions related to the West Bank, which include the cancellation of a Jordanian law and the expansion of settlement construction.

According to published reports, the Israeli cabinet has revoked a Jordanian law that prohibited the sale of land to Jews in the West Bank. This law was related to the period of Jordanian sovereignty over the West Bank before the occupation of this region in 1967.

Israel’s security cabinet also approved decisions to expand settlements in the West Bank.
