Simultaneously with the expansion of the open access model in the global system of science, the necessity of creating standardized and iegrated infrastructures for indexing and iroducing scieific publications has been considered more than in the past, and the launch of the “Doaji” database can be evaluated in this coext.
In this regard, “Doaji” database, relying on the principles of open access scieific publishing and the use of indexing standards, is trying to help improve the transparency of information in publications, increase their evaluation capability, and facilitate researchers’ access to scieific coe. One of the declared goals of this system is to create a platform for more effective communication between domestic scieific publications and the iernational scieific community.

Iranian Open Access Scieific Publications Database (Doaji) pursues missions such as systematic indexing of Iranian open access scieific publications, facilitating free and unrestricted access of researchers, professors and studes to scieific coe, helping to improve the quality and visibility of publications, supporting scieific and ethical standards in open access publishing, and using indexing data in research analyses. Iran Information Science and Technology Research Institute (IranDac) has announced that it plans to move forward with the Doaji database to develop analytical infrastructures for quality evaluation of publications, expand iernational cooperation with world-renowned indexes and platforms, coinuously update data, increase the number of indexed publications, provide information tools and analyze research trends, and create iegrated indexing protocols at the national level.
Currely, Iran’s Open Access Scieific Journals (Doaji) database includes information on 2,214 publications, more than 352,000 articles from 641 publishers in five languages, and is coinuously updated. This database is available to researchers and ierested parties through the address.
