In this regard, “Doaji” database, relying on the principles of open access scientific publishing and the use of indexing standards, is trying to help improve the transparency of information in publications, increase their evaluation capability, and facilitate researchers’ access to scientific content. Iran Information Science and Technology Research Institute (IranDac) has announced that it plans to move forward with the Doaji database to develop analytical infrastructures for quality evaluation of publications, expand international cooperation with world-renowned indexes and platforms, continuously update data, increase the number of indexed publications, provide information tools and analyze research trends, and create integrated indexing protocols at the national level.
