The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia also stated: The recognition of Somaliland will cast heavy shadows on the entire African continent and we will never accept such an action and we will protect our sovereignty.
He continued: Israel must respect the integrity of Somalia and we will not enter into a dialogue with any party that violates our sovereignty.
This Somali diplomat added: We try to have coordination and consultation with every country that supports our sovereignty, and we will cooperate especially with Saudi Arabia and Turkey in this direction.
Regarding regional developments, he said: Talks and consultations are ongoing for coordination with the aim of achieving stability in the Red Sea and Horn of Africa region.
In another part of his speech, Mohammad Omar said: Israel is trying to transfer the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip to the land of Somaliland, and the world must act to stop this Tel Aviv plan.
This Somali government official also emphasized: recognizing Somaliland will not help peace, but will cause instability in the region, and we will not negotiate under pressure.
In the end, he noted: Our policy is a peaceful policy based on dialogue, but there are foreign elements that weaken the process of negotiations and support the secession of Somaliland.
