According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al-Manar, Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, the president of Somalia, warned that the world is in a dangerous moment that threatens the international order based on law.
He added: Ignoring international laws and returning to the logic of force will plunge humanity into chaos similar to what happened before the world wars.
In his speech at the 17th Al-Jazeera Assembly in Doha, Qatar, the President of Somalia referred to the agreements and actions he described as illegal and to the role of the Israeli enemy in issues affecting the stability of the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea.
The President of Somalia also addressed the attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza.
He emphasized that the lack of a fair and comprehensive solution based on a two-state solution is the cause of further escalation and instability and threatens international peace and security.
Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud warned against attempts to weaken the international order or replace it with the logic of narrow personal interests.
Regarding regional issues, the President of Somalia emphasized that the Red Sea is the vital artery of world trade and warned that any threat to its stability will have a negative impact on the global economy.
Referring to the recognition of Somaliland by the Zionist regime, he considered it an illegal act that violates the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia, threatens the stability of the Horn of Africa, and contradicts the African Union Charter, which is based on respect for traditional borders.
The President of Somalia ended his speech by calling for serious international action to hold accountable the violators of international law.
Pointing out that returning to the logic of force will lead the world to dark periods of instability, he emphasized the vital role of the media and civil society in supporting peace and protecting international legitimacy.
