3 Arab countries welcomed the talks in Muscat – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, quoted by WAM news agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE welcomed the talks between the US and Iran in Oman and emphasized that this positive action shows ongoing efforts to support dialogue and reduce tension.
The ministry praised Oman’s efforts to create a suitable atmosphere for dialogue and its hosting of these negotiations and considered it a reflection of the country’s constructive role in supporting ways of understanding and dialogue at the regional and international levels and strengthening security and stability in the region.
The UAE once again emphasized its belief that strengthening dialogue, reducing tension, adhering to international law and respecting the sovereignty of countries is the most basic way to deal with current crises and pointed to its usual approach based on resolving disputes through peaceful means.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE also expressed hope that these talks will lead to positive results that will help strengthen the foundations of security and stability in the region in order to support regional and international peace.
Also, while welcoming the talks between Tehran and Washington in Muscat, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry hoped that these ongoing talks would lead to a comprehensive agreement that would help realize the interests of both sides and maintain the security and stability of the region.
The ministry emphasized on supporting all the commendable efforts of Oman along with a number of friendly and brotherly countries to facilitate the negotiation process and strengthen opportunities for constructive dialogues with the aim of establishing stability in the region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Jordan also welcomed the talks between Iran and the United States in Muscat.
The spokesman of this ministry, Fouad Al-Majali, emphasized that Jordan wants these negotiations to lead to a comprehensive agreement that will fulfill the interests of both sides and strengthen the security and stability of the region.
Al-Majali further expressed Jordan’s appreciation for Oman’s role in hosting these talks and Amman’s support for the current efforts of brotherly and friendly countries to reduce tension and create peace in the region and peaceful solutions through diplomacy and dialogue.
It should be noted that Iran-US talks were held in Oman yesterday.
