Trump: Negotiations with Iran were very good – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, US President Donald Trump, in response to the talks held in Muscat, Oman, pointed out that “the talks with Iran were very good”, claiming that they are looking for an agreement.
He said: We will meet them again next week.
Trump added: We have a lot of time to reach an agreement with Iran.
While speaking of good negotiations with Iran at the beginning of his remarks, the American president repeated his threats of the past few weeks with contradictory words and in an attempt to wage a media war using the method of exaggeration and intimidation, and claimed: We have a large naval fleet that is moving towards the Middle East and will arrive there soon, and we will see how the situation progresses.
It should be noted that a new round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States was held yesterday, Friday, hosted by Oman.
After the talks, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s foreign minister, said: “The start of the talks was good, but their continuation depends on us holding consultations in the capitals.”
