The head of the European Commission, repeating the Russia-phobic positions of Brussels against Moscow, claimed: Russia will only come to the negotiating table with real intentions if it is pressured to do so. So we present our 20th package of sanctions against Russia, which includes energy, financial services and trade.

Ursula von der Leyen claimed in another message in this regard: Russia’s financial income from oil and gas in 2025 decreased by 24% compared to the previous year, which is the lowest level since 2020. This confirms what we already knew; Our sanctions are effective! I now call on member states to quickly approve this new package. On the other hand, Ryanovsti news agency quoted this European official as saying: The 20th package of European Union sanctions against Russia will impose a complete ban on maritime services related to the delivery of Russian crude oil.
