Sudani’s stance on Iran-US negotiations – Mehr News Agency | RCO News Agency
According to the Mehr news agency, citing the information base of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammad Shia al-Sudani, the Prime Minister of the Government of the Advancement of Iraqi Affairs, welcomed French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barro.
He announced that Iraq has assumed heavy responsibilities on behalf of the international community, the latest of which was the transfer of terrorists from Syrian prisons to Iraq.
The Prime Minister of Iraq stated that today it is necessary for the world to support Iraq in this critical time and for other countries to assume their responsibilities by returning their citizens, because this is a common threat.
The Prime Minister of Iraq also emphasized the continuation of cooperation with France in the development of Iraq’s defense capabilities.
Referring to the upcoming negotiations between Iran and the United States and considering the very sensitive conditions of the region and the world, Al-Sudani emphasized Iraq’s support for this dialogue because of its importance in reaching peaceful solutions.
On the other hand, Barrow announced France’s willingness to cooperate with Iraq in order to stabilize the region and coordinate efforts to fight terrorism, and considered Iraq’s role in the transfer of terrorist prisoners as an important step in ensuring regional security, and announced France’s readiness to provide support in the matter of imprisoned terrorists.
