New dimensions of the controversial case; “Epstein’s” lawyer was Fethullah Gulen’s lawyer – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, citing Anatoly, Turkey, official sources announced that these documents are part of more than three million documents that the US Department of Justice has released in connection with the investigation of the Epstein case.
Epstein, who was accused of running a network of sexually abusing teenagers, died in a New York prison in 2019.
Fethullah Gulen is the leader of the Gulen group, which Türkiye considers terrorist. He is accused of being involved in the failed coup in Turkey in July 2016, and on October 21, 2024, sources close to him announced that he died at his residence in Pennsylvania, USA.
According to these documents, in 2019, Weingarten, in a letter to the American judicial authorities, on behalf of Epstein, requested to preserve and provide documents related to the case. He previously represented “Fethullah Gulen” in America and denied the accusations related to the 2016 Turkish coup.
Epstein’s case includes the names of a number of international figures, including Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew and some other former officials.
