Axios: America and Russia agreed on the 6-moh extension of New Start – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency

According to the Mehr news agency, the American Axios website wrote in a report quoting informed sources: During the Abu Dhabi talks, the represeatives of Russia and the United States agreed that the two couries will adhere to the provisions of the “New Start” treaty for at least another six mohs.
According to this report, Washington and Moscow will negotiate with each other about the renewal of the New Start Treaty in these 6 mohs.
The US Army’s European Command also announced in a stateme that Washington and Moscow agreed today in Abu Dhabi to resume high-level military talks.
The purpose of reviving these talks is to reduce the risk of unwaed escalation of tensions.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in this regard: Russia is ready to talk with the US about the New Start agreeme if it receives constructive answers from Washington.
The New Start Treaty was signed between the United States and Russia to corol and reduce nuclear weapons. According to this treaty, which was signed in 2010, the two sides must limit their nuclear arsenals to a maximum of 1,550 warheads on both sides.
