Referring to the indirect talks between Iran and the United States on Friday in Muscat, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hossein said: We support the talks between Tehran and Washington, according to Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera.
He also said about regional consultations to preve the escalation of tensions between Tehran and Washington: the couries of the region have the duty to remove the risk of war from the region.
Iran and the US are expected to start a new round of negotiations on Friday. Tehran has announced that it is ready to negotiate, but it will not compromise the rights of the Iranian people.
In another part of his speech, the Iraqi Foreign Minister welcomed the agreeme between the Golan regime in Syria and the Kurdish militias (SDF) and said: We support the agreeme between Damascus and the SDF forces and we are happy with its results.
Syrian Kurds have reached an agreeme with the Golan regime about iegration io the ceral governme. Although this agreeme is fragile, it has been welcomed by various couries.
