According to RCO News Agency, citing the Royan Research Institute, the “Royana” stude science festival was designed and implemeed following the signing of a tripartite memorandum of understanding between Jihad University, the Royan Research Institute of this organization and the Ministry of Education, with the aim of ideifying, guiding and supporting the scieific tales of studes across the coury. The first period of this festival started on 22nd of Bahman 1403 and after a year of coinuous activity, it has reached its final stage.
This festival will be held in line with the realization of one of the clauses of the stateme of the second step of the Islamic Revolution, announced by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Mudazlah al-Ali), with the focus on “promoting justice in the distribution of the coury’s facilities to the farthest regions in the field of education” and based on the executive manual, it will be held every year in three stages for the studes of the first and second secondary years.
The first and second stages of the first “Royana” festival were held online. In the first stage, 107 groups of studes from 23 provinces of the coury se their plans and ideas in response to 8 scieific questions designed by the ieion of Imam Reza (AS) to the secretariat of the festival, and after the judging, 19 groups made it to the second stage.
In the second stage, the selected groups developed and completed their ideas with the help of meors and during a 45-day period of guidance and expert advice. Finally, after the online judging of this stage, 10 selected designs from 7 provinces of the coury made it to the final stage of the festival.
The third and final stage of Royana festival will be held in person and during three days in the last week of February this year in Tehran.
The first two days of this stage are dedicated to holding scieific, educational and training workshops for studes, teachers and pares, and the third day, the closing ceremony of the festival will be held.
In this ceremony, the studes will defend their projects in fro of the jury and the final winners of the festival will be iroduced and honored in the presence of the officials of the Ministry of Education and Academic Jihad.
The holding of the “Royana” stude scieific festival was carried out within the framework of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s constitution’s emphasis on raising the level of public awareness, creating a platform for scieific creativity and innovation, and supporting stude research, and it can play an effective role in realizing educational justice and developing scieific research among studes.
Cultivation in the use of biological scieific solutions to face challenges, strengthening the spirit of scieific participation and teamwork, supporting studes from underserved areas, ideifying and supporting new ideas from the processing stage to implemeation, and strengthening institutions in charge of stude research, including schools and research institutes, are among the most importa goals of this festival.
The first stude scieific festival “Royana” with a national and justice-orieed approach is the foundation for ideifying and flourishing the scieific tales of studes in all parts of the coury, and its final stage will be held in the last week of February this year in Tehran’s Hijab Hall, with the sincere cooperation of the Ceer for Iellectual Developme of Children and Adolesces.
