Shamkhani: We are ready for any situation – Mehr News Agency RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, Ali Shamkhani, the political adviser of the leader of the Islamic Revolution, emphasized in an exclusive interview with Al-Mayadeen network that the war is not limited to the exchange of fire and the sound of artillery, and that the Islamic Republic of Iran is currently in the real conditions of war and is fully prepared for any scenario.

He added: “Preparation in the military sense means accepting war, not pushing the country towards war.”

Referring to the positions of the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Shamkhani clarified: the leadership has emphasized the fact that they are seeking to swallow Iran, but this is not possible with the existence of the Islamic Republic.

At the same time, he added: they will never be able to swallow Iran; Because they have not learned from their past experiences and have taken many measures over the past decades, but they have failed to achieve their goals.

The former secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council noted: Before they spend their financial resources and threaten the security of the region, they should stop such movements.

Referring to the policies of the American president, Shamkhani said: Donald Trump sought to design a scenario against Iran since he took office and withdrew from the nuclear agreement, but he could not achieve his goals during his first term as president.
