The demand has decreased and the supply has increased, and this has led to a decrease in the price of plane tickets.

Maqsood Asaadi Samani stated that the demand for air travel has decreased.

Airlines have regular flight schedules. Naturally, when the supply is high and the demand is low, the price of tickets will also decrease.

The ticket rates sold in the market today are less than 40% of the ceiling in most routes.

According to Maqsood Asaadi Samani, in the 9 months of this year, the performance of airlines in domestic flights was 12 million and 280 thousand passengers, which is 10% less compared to the same period last year. This means that in this period, the demand for air travel has decreased by about 10% compared to last year, and we have had a decrease in passengers. He attributes the decrease in demand for air travel to the economic conditions of the people and the departure of air travel from the budget of the people.

Also, the number of passengers on foreign flights of domestic companies at Imam Airport this year has also decreased by 22% compared to the same period last year and has reached about 1.59 million passengers in the 9 months of this year.
