Arrest of a Zionist settler in Istanbul for insulting Erdogan – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, Hebrew media sources announced that Turkish authorities have arrested a Zionist woman in Istanbul last week. According to local reports, the action was carried out in connection with the accusation of insulting the Turkish flag and the president of this country, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to these reports, the arrested person is still in custody after completing the initial stages of the investigation, and no further details about his legal status, official charges or the possible time of his release have been published.
The Turkish authorities have not provided an official and independent response in this regard. This event is taking place in a situation where the relations between Turkey and the Zionist regime in recent months (leading to early 2026) have remained extremely dark and are at their lowest level due to the continuation of the Gaza war and regional politics.
On the other hand, Türkiye’s extensive trade sanctions against the Israeli regime have been in place since 2024, direct flights have stopped, and Zionist officials have emphasized that they do not need to normalize relations.
