The high effectiveness of cooperation between Russia and China is the result of relations based on mutual trust and equality. Sergei Shoigu then added: Russia emphasizes its persistent and unchanging support for Beijing in the Taiwan issue. We are ready to strengthen the coordination of our foreign policy with Beijing in the United Nations and within the BRICS, Shanghai Cooperation Organization and other multilateral frameworks. Russia is closely monitoring the accelerated militarization policy being pursued in Japan.
