Cuban Foreign Minister to Trump: We are always ready for war – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to the Mehr News Agency, quoted by Russia Allium, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Barella, condemning the actions of the United States to cut off the country’s fuel supply, emphasized that Washington is trying to impose difficult living conditions on the Cuban people through the energy blockade.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba strongly condemned the recent actions of the United States and its efforts to prevent the country’s fuel supply and said that these policies are aimed at pressuring the Cuban people and imposing difficult living conditions.
In a message on X social network, he wrote: We strongly condemn the new escalation of American actions against Cuba. Washington is now seeking to impose a complete blockade on our country’s fuel supply.
Cuba’s foreign minister emphasized: Cuba is firm in the face of the Trump administration’s new actions against it. We are a revolutionary people and we will always be ready to fight.
Rodríguez said: We condemn the new escalation of tension by the US against Cuba in the strongest terms. Washington is seeking a complete embargo on fuel shipments to Cuba. The US justifies this action with a series of lies aimed at portraying Cuba as a threat to regional security.
These comments come as US President Donald Trump signed a new executive order that would impose additional tariffs on goods imported from countries that directly or indirectly sell or supply oil products to Cuba.
This decision was taken in the context of intensifying the hostile policies of the United States against Havana and it takes place at the same time as the tensions and unilateral actions of Washington increase in the Latin American and Caribbean region.
