According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, the European Union, following the anti-Iranian policies of the United States and the Zionist regime, announced today in a hostile action that it has included Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the list of so-called “terrorist groups” of the Union.

Kaya Callas, the head of the European Union’s foreign policy, announced that the Union’s foreign ministers agreed to include the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the list of so-called “terrorist organizations”.

Meanwhile, this European official called this anti-Iranian action a “decisive step” in defense of riots and armed terrorists in Iran and “condemnation of the oppression of the Iranian people” that the European countries hypocritically kept silent against the genocide and massacre of the people of Gaza by the Zionists for the past two years, but also provided political and weapons support to the Zionist regime.

At the same time, Kaya Kalas said in response to the tension created by America against Iran: the region cannot tolerate another war.

Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country, in response to this hostile action of the European Union, warned: Europe is busy fanning the fire of the crisis. After pursuing the “snapback” mechanism at the behest of the US, it has now made another major strategic mistake by listing our armed forces as so-called “terrorist organizations”.

The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, in response to the inclusion of the IRGC in the so-called terrorist list of Europe, announced: the dangerous consequences of this decision will be directly borne by the European policy makers.
