According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al-Mayadin, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Ciarto said that the European Union’s foreign ministers described America as a threat to Europe for the first time during a meeting.

These statements of the Hungarian Foreign Minister come at a time when the darkness in Europe’s relations with the United States has entered a new stage after Donald Trump’s announcement of his desire to take over Greenland and the Europeans’ opposition to it.

The recent actions of the United States to occupy Greenland as a strategic island in the North Atlantic Ocean have increased the level of the American security threat to Europe unprecedentedly.

Donald Trump has announced that the US will not settle for anything less than full control of Greenland and will impose a 10% tariff on countries that oppose this occupation, including Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, England, the Netherlands and Finland.

On the other hand, the Danish military authorities have mentioned the possibility of an imminent attack on this island, referring to the recent US military movements, and thus the military dimension of the crisis has been strengthened.
