According to RCO News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia issued a statement on Tuesday evening referring to the swearing-in of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s Vice President Delsy Rodríguez as the country’s acting president and stated: “This step is the determination of the government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to ensure unity and maintain the power structure established in accordance with national laws, reduce the risk of a constitutional crisis and create the necessary conditions for the continued peaceful and stable development of Venezuela in the face of threats.” It clearly shows neo-colonialism and armed aggression from abroad.”
According to the “Tass” News agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia emphasized: “We welcome the efforts of the official authorities of this country to protect national sovereignty and national interests.”
The ministry also said: “We reaffirm Russia’s unwavering solidarity with the people and government of Venezuela and wish President Rodríguez success in addressing the challenges facing the Bolivarian Republic.”

“Donald Trump,” the President of the United States, who attacked Nicolas Maduro and his wife on Saturday with a military attack on Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, said in his latest statement: “We sent 152 planes to Venezuela. “None of our people were killed, on the other side, many people were killed, soldiers, mostly Cuban soldiers.”
