Deputy Erdogan: We continue to support the national will of Venezuela
Türkiye’s vice president said that the country will continue dialogue with all parties to ensure stability in Venezuela and supports the national will of this Latin American country.
According to RCO News Agency, Turkey’s Vice President Judet Yilmaz wrote on X social network on Sunday evening, referring to the current events in Venezuela: “In the Venezuelan crisis, Turkey continues to support international laws.”
Turkish Vice President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized: “Regarding Venezuela, Turkey will continue to respect the national will and support the Venezuelan people, as well as continue to defend stability in dialogue with all parties.”
On Saturday, US President Donald Trump attacked Venezuela’s capital Caracas in an illegal invasion called “Operation Absolute Resolve” and arrested Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife and transported them to New York.
Several members of the US Congress called the operation “illegal”, while the US government promised that Maduro would be brought to justice. Venezuela’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also announced its intention to appeal to international organizations about Washington’s actions and called for an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council.
