Venezuelan Foreign Minister’s telephone conversation with Seyyed Abbas Araghchi
Following the escalation of tensions between Caracas and Washington, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela announced that he had a conversation with his Iranian couerpart and received Tehran’s support against what he called a clear violation of iernational law.
According to Isna, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Ivan Khel, announced that he had discussions with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, about the latest developmes.
Referring to these consultations, Khel emphasized: “We have received the support of the Iranian governme and the people of Venezuela in the face of the clear violation of iernational law by the United States governme,” according to the Al-Mayadeen network report.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela added that this support was expressed in the circumstances that Caracas considers the rece actions of the US as a serious attack on the principles of iernational law and the national sovereigy of couries.
