Venezuela’s Foreign Minister: Our coury has been targeted by American imperialism – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Pio said in response to the attacks on Venezuela: The attacks on Venezuela are a clear violation of the UN Charter and threaten iernational peace and stability. We condemn the attack on our coury and this attack is a violation of the UN Charter.
He added: Any attempt to change the ruling system in our coury will fail, just like the previous attempts failed.
He said: America is behind the rece attacks on resideial areas and infrastructure. The attacks have targeted civilian and military ceers and the city ceer of Caracas.
He added: The preside of Venezuela has ordered the activation of the national defense plan throughout the coury. The preside has ordered a state of emergency in the coury. Venezuela reserves the right to legitimately defend its nation, lands and sovereigy. What is happening now is the aggression against Venezuela, and it will face the activation of defense plans very soon.
Venezuela’s foreign minister said: This attack is from American imperialism. Venezuela opposes this dangerous military aggression by the US governme. We strongly condemn the dangerous US military aggression against our coury. The purpose of this attack on our coury is to seize our oil and gas resources.
He said: The governme was all national forces in the coury to activate public mobilization plans. We turn to the Security Council and regional and iernational organizations to deal with this aggression. The preside has signed the state of emergency order. The preside has issued the order of the state of emergency and turning to confroation. The Preside has ordered the immediate deployme of all the People’s Defense Forces throughout the coury.
