Araghchi: Trump’s anti-Iranian message is very irresponsible and dangerous
Iran’s foreign minister wrote: Trump’s message, which is probably influenced by those who fear diplomacy or mistakenly believe that diplomacy is unnecessary, is very irresponsible and dangerous. Our powerful armed forces know exactly where to target if Iran’s sovereignty is violated.
According to RCO News Agency, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi reacted to US President Donald Trump’s interventionist message in Iran’s internal affairs.
On Friday, Araghchi wrote on the X social network: Those in Iran who have been affected by the temporary fluctuations in the exchange rate have protested peacefully in the past few days, as is their right. Apart from that, we have also seen instances of violent riots, including an attack on a police station and throwing Molotov cocktails at police officers.
Iran’s foreign minister stated: President Trump, who recently deployed the National Guard inside the borders of the United States, knows better than anyone that criminal attacks on public property cannot be tolerated. That’s why President Trump’s message today, likely influenced by those who fear diplomacy or mistakenly believe diplomacy is unnecessary, is so irresponsible and dangerous.
In the end, he wrote: “The great nation of Iran, like in the past, will categorically reject any interference in its internal affairs.” Likewise, our powerful armed forces are on high alert and know exactly where to target should Iran’s sovereignty be violated.
Senior officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including Speaker of the Islamic Council Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani, and Ismail Baqaei, the spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, reacted to Trump’s statements.
