The space station also celebrated 25 years of continuous human presence in 2025 and showed the commitment of humans to space exploration and scientific discoveries.

The space station is an orbiting laboratory that was built and operated since 1998 and is an international collaboration between NASA, the Russian space agency, Europe, Japan and Canada.

This station has had a continuous human presence for more than 25 years and its research includes biology, physics, astronomy and earth sciences.
