Xi: The reunification of China and Taiwan is inevitable

According to Isna, Chinese Preside Xi Jinping said today, Wednesday and shortly after the announceme of the end of the “Justice Mission 2025” military exercise of the coury’s army, which was conducted on Monday and Tuesday around the island of Taiwan, that it is not possible to preve the reunification of China.

“The reunification of our motherland is inevitable,” Xi Jinping said in his 2026 New Year message from Beijing, Xinhua News agency reported.

China started a military exercise with war ammunition around Taiwan and said its purpose was to test combat readiness and “serious warning” to “separatists” and “foreign ierveion” forces.

The exercise, which began on Monday, had Taiwan scrambling to deploy troops and weapons to practice repelling an attack.

This developme occurred in the wake of Beijing’s anger over the $11.1 billion US coract with Taiwan to sell arms to Taiwan, an autonomous island that China does not recognize as independe and was its unity under the principle of “one China”.

Beijing considers Taiwan part of its territory and has promised to use force if necessary to take corol of the island.
