Gillette Castle is located in the state of Connecticut. Gillet Castle is inspired by medieval architecture and built using steel and local stones on top of the hill and overlooking the river. This castle was built by William Gillette, the actor of Sherlock Holmes, and it took five years to build. In the interior of this castle, there are 24 unique rooms with wooden decorations. Among the strange parts of this castle, we can mention the secret corridors.

Pickle Barrel House is located in Michigan. This house was built in 1926 for the famous cartoonist “William Donahey”. This house has two floors and its different parts include a living room, a kitchen and a bedroom. After some time, this house turned into an information center for tourists of the city, as well as an ice cream shop and a souvenir shop. Today, this strange building operates as a museum.
