
According to Mehr reporter, Samad Hassanzadeh today in the meeting of the heads of specialized commissions of the Chamber of Iran and the members, which was held in the presence of Hossein Afshin, the Preside’s Vice Preside for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, said, referring to the curre situation of the coury: We are at a poi where the honorable people of Iran, especially the future-making youth, have high expectations of economic performance, and this has highlighted the need to accelerate the implemeation of developme programs more than ever. In the meaime, knowledge-based companies, as drivers of the future economy, need special, targeted and operational atteion.
He added: despite the coury’s scieific capacities and technologically Notably, there is still a significa gap between the existing scieific power and Iran’s share in the world markets; A gap that needs to be addressed with careful policy and effective action.
The preside of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce emphasized that the products of knowledge-based companies should not remain at the level of “laboratory samples” and stated: The expectation of public opinion and economic activists is that the achievemes of universities and research and developme ceers, with a serious will, will become commercial products and part of the coury’s export portfolio. Comparing the curre situation of Iran with the couries of the region, the necessity of this developme becomes more obvious.
Referring to the effective role of the support of managers and influeial figures in the governme body, Hassanzadeh said: the presence and practical support of these people can play a decisive role in removing obstacles and facilitating processes. In this framework, the Chamber of Commerce should take a more active and progressive role by using its wide capacities.
He also suggested to ensure the coinuity, transparency and effectiveness of the follow-ups: an operational mechanism should be established through the iroduction of two specific represeatives from the economic activists for coinuous communication with the responsible institutions and facilitating the resolution of ambiguities; An action that can play a vital role in fulfilling our national mission towards the Iranian nation.
Hasanzadeh added: The main demand of the community of economic activists is to speed up the formation of the “Export Federation of knowledge-based products”; A mechanism that can provide the necessary coordination for the cohere and competitive presence of Iran’s knowledge-based products in iernational markets. In this regard, economic activists have declared their full readiness to eer new investmes, simultaneously with the implemeation of the governme’s support policies.
The head of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture noted: The only practical solution to transform the scieific capacities of the coury io economic prosperity and export-orieed developme is a cohere, expert and aligned cooperation between the governme, the private sector and the academic community. Decisive support for this approach will meet the rightful expectations of the future generation.
