Kremlin aide: Trump is shocked by the terrorist attack in Ukraine
Referring to the unsuccessful Ukrainian attack on the residence of the Russian president, the Kremlin aide said that the US president was shocked by this act of Ukraine.
According to RCO News Agency, Yuri Ushakov, the assistant to the Russian President, said in a speech on Monday evening: “Russian President Vladimir Putin told US President Donald Trump that Ukraine carried out a drone attack on the presidential residence in Russia, and President Trump was shocked by the Ukrainian terrorist attack.”
According to the report of “Ryanovsky” News agency, Vladimir Putin’s assistant emphasized: “President Putin drew Donald Trump’s attention to the fact that almost immediately after what the American side considers to be a successful round of negotiations in Maralago, the Kiev regime launched a terrorist attack against the Russian presidential residence in the Novgorod region using long-range drones on a large scale.”
Ushakov clarified: “Putin told Trump that the attack of the Ukrainian armed forces on the Russian presidential residence will not go unanswered.”
The Kremlin aide stated that Donald Trump and his key advisers briefed the Russian president on the talks with the Ukrainian side, saying: “Donald Trump and his key advisers, who were present in this conversation, presented a detailed report of the main results of yesterday’s negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation in Maralago. Trump also informed Putin that he advised Volodymyr Zelensky (President of Ukraine) not to buy time for the Ukrainian military, but to focus on full agreements.
He added: “Zelensky was advised by Trump not to try even for his own armed forces, but to focus on reaching a comprehensive agreement that would lead to a real end to the armed conflict.”
Yury Ushakov emphasized that Russia’s position on a number of previous agreements with the United States and resolutions of the Ukraine negotiations will be reviewed after the unsuccessful attack by Kiev on the Russian presidential residence in the Novgorod region, said: “Of course, Russia’s position on a number of agreements reached at the previous stage and emerging resolutions will be reviewed. This issue is clearly stated. “The United States must understand Russia’s intention to revise its negotiating positions after the failed attack on the Russian presidential residence.”
In the end, referring to Putin’s contacts with the American representatives, he pointed out: “During the last year, the Russian president had 17 contacts with the representatives of the United States.”
