According to ISNA, a video of a visitor to Saad Abad Palace is circulating on the internet. Its subject is the protest against the wrong behavior of the employees of the Green Palace (residence of Reza Shah) of the visitors. It is shown that the staff of this palace got into a verbal conflict with the visitors; But the officials of this series say that they have reviewed all the cameras and what was shown was not the whole reality!
The publisher of this video has explained that the incident happened on Friday, January 5th at around 2:00 PM, and the main issue is related to the inconsistency in providing the correct information to prepare the visit ticket and the misbehavior of two of the Green Palace personnel, which led to tension with some visitors. This person also said that in this palace photography is prohibited even without a flash, an incident that has been repeated in the museums of royal dishes and the royal kitchen.
In line with the description of this video, other users have also narrated their similar experiences from encounters in some Saadabad palaces and of course other historical places.
Other users have mentioned that visiting the museum and historical monuments should have a standard and the number of visitors should be proportional to the capacity of the building, but all this is not an excuse or justification for misbehaving with visitors.
However, the officials of Saad Abad Palace, after following up on the behavior of some visitors of the Green Palace, explained that “on Saturday, January 6, 1404, a meeting was held in Saad Abad Palace, and this matter was investigated and all the videos of the cameras of the Green Palace were reviewed, and it seems that what was shown in the virtual space was not the whole story, and the narrative was not accurately and completely narrated.”
This explanation was also added that “the capacity of some palaces in Saad Abad, including Sabz, is limited, and therefore, the entry of visitors to these palaces must be controlled, which is sometimes beyond the reach of visitors.”
Also, regarding the restriction on obtaining tickets at the moment to visit some Saadabad palaces, especially the Green Palace, and the requirement to obtain tickets at the entrance of the complex by some employees, this explanation was given to Isna that “in the same meeting on Saturday, this issue was discussed and reviewed, and there is no problem in obtaining tickets at the moment, to see any of the palaces and museums of this complex, and visitors can also obtain tickets electronically, and what was narrated in that video was not accurate and correct. is.”
Saad Abad Palace usually spends the most visited time on holidays and Thursdays and Fridays, and the queues for buying tickets and visiting museums are sometimes long and time-consuming. On the website of Saad Abad Palace, it is also mentioned that “when buying tickets for museums, please note that visiting each museum of Saad Abad complex will take time due to the crowded waiting lines and the distances between museums, so buy tickets for each museum according to your time.” It is not possible to refund the cost of the purchased ticket.
The closing time of Saad Abad palace museums has also been announced in the second half of 2017, and the deadline for purchasing and obtaining tickets is also 15:00, but according to the experience that some visitors have narrated, some museums of this complex do not allow the entry of newer visitors despite the purchase of tickets.
Failure to provide accurate and timely information about museum closures and working hours, restrictions and conditions of visits in this collection, has also usually caused protests, especially from the organizers of domestic and foreign tours.
