Signing of military cooperation agreement between Tel Aviv, Cyprus and Greece – Mehr News Agency | RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, citing Ma’a, the spokesperson of the Zionist army announced that a cooperation agreement has been signed between this regime, Greece and Cyprus.
Based on this agreement, the mentioned parties will conduct joint maneuvers and exercises and hold strategic military talks on the issues of concern.
Referring to the signing of this agreement, the Zionist Army Radio announced the formation of a tripartite military alliance against Türkiye. This agreement was signed during the trip of a Zionist delegation to Cyprus.
Previously, the Prime Minister of Northern Cyprus had emphasized that the Zionist regime’s cabinet has adopted hostile policies and trampled human values in the region.
He added that the Zionist regime intends to transfer these tensions and conflicts to the eastern Mediterranean. Instead of strengthening peace in this region, Cyprus, Greece and the Zionist regime are seeking to increase tension and military divisions. This action is considered not only as an open hostile move but also as a serious and dangerous threat against peace. On the one hand, South Cyprus shows that it seeks to solve the Cyprus problem, and on the other hand, it takes action to form military alliances against Türkiye. This action is considered two-faced and makes it impossible to solve the Cyprus problem.
It should be noted that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Greece and the President of Cyprus in occupied Jerusalem.
Yediot Aharonot newspaper also reported that Tel Aviv, Greece and Cyprus are planning to form a rapid reaction force as a joint military force in the eastern Mediterranean Sea with the participation of ground, air and naval forces. 2,500 troops will be present in this program and will be stationed in Greek islands, Cyprus and occupied territories. This action is done with the aim of confronting Turkey.
