While poiing out that this call was made at the request of the US Preside, the Kremlin aide added: “Trump waed to discuss a number of issues with Putin before meeting with Zelensky (Preside of Ukraine) in person.”
Referring to the call, which lasted for about an hour and 15 minutes, Ushakov said: “Trump waed to discuss the curre situation with Putin regarding the conflict in Ukraine and the possibility of resolving it.”
“The tone of the talks has been described as friendly, constructive and business-like, and Trump has strongly emphasized the idea of ending the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible,” Putin’s aide noted.
