Venezuela emphasized its support for the sovereigy and territorial iegrity of Somalia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela issued a stateme, while declaring its strong support for the sovereigy, unity and territorial iegrity of Somalia within the framework of iernationally recognized borders, and condemned any unilateral action to recognize the separatist curres in this coury.
According to RCO News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela announced by publishing a stateme that within the framework of its independe foreign policy and by adhering to the fundameal principles of iernational law and the United Nations Charter, it emphasizes to the iernational community the complete and decisive recognition of the sovereigy, unity and territorial iegrity of the “Federal Republic of Somalia” within its iernationally recognized borders.
In this stateme, it is stated that the principle of territorial iegrity is inviolable and is the basic basis of peace and stability in the Horn of Africa and the whole world.
Venezuela has also declared that it supports the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the decisions of the African Union adopted in support of the territorial iegrity of Somalia.
Further, the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in line with the position announced by the Somali governme and with the support of allied couries, has categorically rejected any unilateral action aimed at recognizing separatist eities inside Somalia. In this stateme, it is emphasized that such actions are a clear violation of iernational law, weaken regional stability and create a dangerous precede for the iernational system.
In the final part of this stateme, Venezuela called for a peaceful resolution of disputes through dialogue, mutual respect and multilateral mechanisms and emphasized that achieving a lasting solution to the challenges faced by Somalia is only possible by respecting the sovereigy of this coury, supporting its legitimate institutions and avoiding any ierference in iernal affairs that violates the territorial iegrity of Somalia.
