Putin: Russian defense industries are operating stably
Russian Preside Vladimir Putin announced on Friday that the coury’s defense industry companies operate in a stable and orderly manner and provide all the equipme and weapons needed by the forces.
According to RCO News Agency, Putin said in a meeting about Russia’s state weapons program: “Our defense industry companies are operating without problems and provide all the necessary weapons and equipme both for the units involved in special military operations and for the armed forces in general.”
According to Sputnik, Putin further added that the nature, forms and methods of conducting operations during the special military operation against Ukraine are constaly changing and the experience gained by the Russian armed forces in this operation will be fully used in shaping the new face of the coury’s defense industry.
Putin also announced that the production of weapons in demand during special military operations has increased significaly since 2022.
He said: “Compared to 2022, the production of equipme and weapons needed for special military operations in 2025 has multiplied several times.”
According to the Preside of Russia, since 2022, the production of armored weapons has increased 2.2 times, the production of military aircraft has increased 4.6 times, the production of destructive weapons and ammunition has grown more than 22 times, and the production of infary fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers has increased 3.7 times.
At the end, Putin emphasized: “All this increase in production is the result of the joi work of the companies of the defense industry complex and, in fact, the eire economy of the coury.” Without developme and without stability in the financial system and the economy in general, such an achieveme would not have been possible.
