Egypt’s strong warning to Ethiopia about the construction of new dams – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency

According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Waa News Agency, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati, in a sharp and unprecedeed speech, described the Nile River crisis with Ethiopia as an existeial and esseial threat to his coury that goes beyond national security or conveional border issues.
Poiing out that Egypt’s civilization was formed on the basis of the Nile River and the ingenuity of its people, Abdul Ati added: Ethiopia has brought the path of negotiations to a dead end by adopting the policy of putting us against what has been done and building the Ennahda Dam.
Abdul Ati stated clearly: Cairo does not iend to return to the process of inconclusive negotiations that lasted for nearly 15 years.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister warned the authorities of Addis Ababa: Any decision or action to build new dams on the Nile River will be met with Egypt’s decisive and certain response based on iernational laws.
