The readiness of 4 countries to send troops to Ukraine, according to Zelensky’s adviser
Adviser to the President of Ukraine emphasized the necessity of foreign participation in deterring Russia after the establishment of peace and said that four NATO member countries are ready to send their troops to Ukraine to protect peace.
According to RCO News Agency, “Mikhail Podoliak”, the adviser to the President of Ukraine and the country’s chief negotiator in the peace talks, in a conversation emphasizing international cooperation to create deterrence against Russia, stated that England, France, Germany and Turkey are ready to send a group of peacekeepers to Ukraine after the end of the war.
Ukrainian National News reported about this: Podoliak believes that Ukraine should not shoulder the burden of creating deterrence against Russia alone, and international partners should participate in this process.
This senior Ukrainian official asked the question, “Who will finance all this?” Who will be present to integrate everything into a single system and who will moderate the Russian deterrence processes? Then the issue is that the representatives of other countries that are interested in this issue should be present here.”
He also noted: the war will lead to a deep reorganization of the European space; Ukraine will move towards Europe and the EU will be forced to rethink its way of life – it will become more polite, militaristic and anti-Russian.
Podoliak’s statements were made while NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte also announced that some European countries have declared their readiness to send troops to Ukraine in order to protect peace.
Negotiations between the United States and Ukraine on the Washington peace initiative, which includes ceding parts of Russian-controlled territory, establishing a demilitarized zone on the Donbas front line, limiting the Ukrainian army, and abandoning Ukraine’s demand to join the NATO alliance, are still ongoing.
Progress has been made in these negotiations, and the United States has promised that if Ukraine agrees to the terms of this agreement, it will provide security guarantees similar to NATO’s to this country, which will be implemented gradually.
Moscow has previously announced its opposition to any deployment of NATO forces on the territory of Ukraine under the title of peacekeeping forces.
