Erdogan: Türkiye was peace, stability and ceasefire in Sudan

On Thursday, Turkish Preside Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Sudan’s Transitional Sovereigy Council Chairman Abdul Fattah al-Barhan in Ankara and discussed bilateral relations and the coinuation of conflicts in Sudan.
According to RCO News Agency, According to a stateme published by the Turkish Presideial Communications Departme on the “X” social network, the parties exchanged views on bilateral relations between Turkey and Sudan as well as regional and global developmes.
Erdogan said in this meeting that Ankara plans to expand cooperation with Sudan in areas such as trade, agriculture, mining and defense industries.
The Preside of Turkey warned that the conflicts in Sudan have created one of the biggest humanitarian crises in the world and said that actions that are an example of crimes against humanity have taken place, especially in the Al-Fasher region.
He further called for “serious and decisive measures” to stop the violence.
Erdogan also emphasized that Türkiye supports the peace, stability and preservation of Sudan’s territorial iegrity, and the main goal is to establish a ceasefire and establish lasting peace in this coury.
In the end, he stated that Türkiye will coinue to support the people of Sudan who are facing a humanitarian crisis through humanitarian aid.
