He added: In recent months, following the non-holding of public calls for the recruitment of faculty members in the responsible ministries, a significant part of the applicants for the recruitment of faculty members throughout the country have been directed towards the “Direction” plan of the National Elite Foundation. The issue that caused more than 5,000 cases (including re-examination cases) to enter the evaluation process in the recruitment secretariat of the National Elite Foundation in the last two calls; A figure that has been unprecedentedly beyond the initial estimates of the plan and much higher than the elite target population.

Emphasizing that the “Direction” plan was designed with the aim of supporting the elite layer and top talents and not covering all the applicants for the country’s academic faculty, he clarified that: due to the limitations in holding public calls for the recruitment of ministers, in practice we witnessed that a large part of the applicants, regardless of the degree of compliance with the mission of the plan, registered their application, which has put additional pressure on the secretariat and the evaluation processes.

Emphasizing that “accuracy does not sacrifice speed”, Khodeigan pointed out that the review of cases in this plan is not just an administrative process, but includes a detailed evaluation of the scientific, research, technological and elite records of the applicants, expert calculation of points and qualitative review and audit in the seven specialized working groups of the National Elite Foundation with the presence of prominent professors of the country, which is directly related to the rights of the applicants and the validity of the plan.

He continued: Accordingly, the new call for the plan should be started immediately after the complete review of the existing cases.

Referring to the continuous activity of the “Jhat” project secretariat, this official stated: The executive team of the foundation’s recruitment secretariat has been working with maximum capacity in the past months and the review of cases has been ongoing intensively and without interruption. However, the high volume of cases requires that sufficient time be devoted to a fair and thorough review of each request.

Emphasizing that the main goal of the foundation is to maintain the quality, justice and credibility of the “Jhat” project, the deputy head of the National Elite Foundation said: Considering that most of the applicants’ cases have been reviewed and assigned, as soon as the results of the remaining cases are announced, a new call will be published through official notification.
