Iranian diplomat: The friendship between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan is unshakable

Referring to the existence of political will and deep-rooted connections between Tehran and Baku, the ambassador of Iran in the Republic of Azerbaijan emphasized that the unity and friendship between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan is unshakable.
According to Isna, Iran’s ambassador in Baku, Mojtabi Demirchilo, in an article on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the beginning of diplomatic relations between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan, titled “From Old Roots to New Horizons”, noted that Iran officially recognized the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan decades ago and established a solid foundation for stable bilateral relations.
He emphasized that the relationship between the two nations is unique and beyond the normal state-to-state relations, which is rooted in ceuries of culture, history and common values.
The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran coinued: “During the past three decades, our friendship and brotherhood has developed based on mutual ierests and trust and has overcome existing challenges.” “Our common roots have always served as a stabilizing anchor and protected our relationship from storms.”

Stating that “the media, writers and political analysts play a decisive and strategic role in shaping the relations between the two couries“, he said: “At a time when false narratives are being created with the aim of creating artificial division between these two brotherly nations, the main task of the media is to maiain national awareness and clarify the strategic common ground that binds them together.”
The Iranian diplomat added: “Journalists in Tehran and Baku have a historical responsibility: protecting the legacy of this ancie friendship against foreign ierference and protecting it against forces that are worried about the deepening of relations between the two nations.” Misinformation and divisive narratives must never be allowed to overshadow the common roots that unite them.
He emphasized that the media should act as a herald of peace, cooperation and brotherhood and remind people of the eternal power of unity by highlighting common ierests and opportunities.
