Putin: More couries are ierested in relations with the Eurasian Union

The Russian Preside said that more and more couries are expressing their desire to establish relations with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
According to Isna, Russian Preside Vladimir Putin said Sunday evening during the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in St. Petersburg: “More couries and multilateral structures express their desire to establish relations with our association, and the circle of foreign trade partners of the Eurasian Economic Union coinues to expand.”
According to the Sputnik News agency, the Russian preside emphasized: “India has expressed its readiness to iensify the process of agreeing on a prefereial agreeme with the Eurasian Economic Union.”
“A prefereial agreeme is being developed with India, a coury that pursues an independe policy and a reliable partner with a market of 1.5 billion people and a GDP of about $4 trillion,” Putin added.
Stating that the Eurasian Economic Union brings real benefits to each of its members, he said: “This union has established itself as a self-sufficie ceer in the emerging multipolar world, and decisions aimed at further deepening cooperation within the union will be discussed at this meeting.”
Vladimir Putin emphasized: “Cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union coinues to develop steadily, and cooperation within the Union guaraees the economic stability of the five couries.”
He added: “The developme of cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union will help ensure the economic resilience of the eire region, which is importa in the face of global economic turmoil.”
Emphasizing that the Eurasian Economic Union has created a stable, independe and free payme system free from foreign pressure, the Russian preside said: “A reliable and independe payme infrastructure free from foreign influence has been created within this union, and the share of national currencies in trade transactions between the union couries has reached 93%.” “Also, practically all mutual settlemes are done in national currencies.”
