This exhibition is a romaic and uncompromising look at the life and artistic world of Mohammad Reza Shajarian, and tells less-seen momes of Iran’s Khosrow through the eyes of legend Shajarian. Along with the photos, Ostad Shajarian’s instrumes are also displayed to make the visual narrative of the exhibition more complete.
Shajarian’s innovative instrumes are a collection of innovative and handmade instrumes that were designed and made by Mohammad Reza Shajarian in collaboration with Afshin Rajabi. This collection includes instrumes such as “Sarahi”, “Shah Sarahi”, “Sarahi Alto”, “Bamsarahi”, “Shahrashob”, “Shahrashob Alto”, “Bamsaz”, ”Shahnawaz”, “Shahbang”, “Charisma”, “Barbad”, “Thunder”, “Sagher”, “Sebu Soprano”, “Dell and Del”, “Dell and Del Alto”, “Dell and Del Soprano” and “Parhib”.
The artistic manageme of this exhibition is under the responsibility of Reza Mousavi and its curator is under the responsibility of Sahar Forozan. The “Face of Mehr” exhibition will be open uil January 2, 1404 in Tehran Museum of Coemporary Art.
