According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Al Jazeera network, “Hakan Fidan, Turkey’s Foreign Minister, while explaining the talks in Miami, USA about the ceasefire in the second phase in Gaza, said: In the Miami talks, we emphasized that Israel’s violations make the transition to the second phase more difficult.
He added: Our emphasis is that the administration of Gaza should be in the hands of the residents of Gaza, this area should not be divided and investments should be made for the benefit of its people.
The Turkish Foreign Minister also said: “In Miami, we reached promising understandings and discussed ways to avoid creating danger for the peace plan.”
He continued: In these meetings, the necessity of setting a timetable for handing over the administration of Gaza to a committee technocrat was discussed.
Meanwhile, a senior American official told Al Jazeera: Today in Miami, a new round of negotiations on Gaza will be held.
He added: Negotiations related to Gaza and Ukraine will be held simultaneously in Miami today.
