
The Iernational Institute of Seismology and Earthquake Engineering has unveiled earthquake preparedness guides for children with disabilities.
According to Isna Earthquake preparedness guides for children with disabilities were unveiled with the presence of a group of officials and experts from the coury’s crisis manageme organization, exceptional education organization, Red Cresce youth organization, the coury’s welfare organization, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Educational, Scieific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
These guides have been prepared in line with the social responsibilities of the Iernational Institute of Seismology and Earthquake Engineering in order to promote public preparedness against earthquakes and in joi cooperation with UNICEF, UNESCO and the UNESCO Regional Educational and Research Ceer for Earthquake Risk Manageme and Resilience for the first time in the world.
These guides have been prepared for three groups of coacts, including families and caregivers, educators and executive officials related to these children, and they include topics related to a wide range of disabilities, and the pois that should be considered in the field of preveion, preparedness, emergency response, and reconstruction and rehabilitation for these children are reflected in them.
