Head of Mossad: Iran still seeks to destroy Israel
The senior security official of the Zionist regime claims that Iran seeks the destruction of Israel and that Washington and Tel Aviv should not allow Tehran to revive its nuclear program.
According to RCO News Agency, David Barnia, head of Mossad, claimed on Tuesday that Iran has not given up on its desire to destroy Israel, and if it is able, it will act quickly to acquire nuclear weapons.
“The idea of developing a nuclear bomb is still alive in their hearts,” Barnia claimed. “We have a responsibility to ensure that Iran’s nuclear project, which was dealt a fatal blow in close cooperation with the Americans, is never revived.”
According to the reports of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran is not seeking to build nuclear weapons, and Tehran has repeatedly stated that nuclear weapons have no place in its defense doctrine.
Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, also emphasized that Iran’s nuclear issue will not be eliminated by bombing because its technology is indigenous and not imported.
Barnia, who will leave this post in June 2026, also said in response to the recent attack in Australia: “The perpetrators and those who sent them, wherever they are, will be identified and held accountable.”
