The Zionist minister accused Australia of encouraging attacks against Jews
Accusing the Australian government of responsibility for the deadly Hanukkah shooting at Sydney’s Bondi Beach, the Department of Jewish Immigration has claimed Canberra’s policies have put Jewish safety at risk.
According to Isna, the Ministry of Jewish Affairs outside the Occupied Territories claimed that the Australian government is responsible for the deadly shooting attack on the Hanukkah celebration ceremony on Sydney’s Bunda Beach, and claimed that Canberra “used all its power so that Australian Jews cannot live as Jews, with security, peace and comfort in their country.”
“The blood of the victims is on the hands of the Australian government,” the department said in a statement, condemning what it called “a brutal act of terrorism against Jews who had gathered to light Hanukkah candles.”
“Since October 7, the Australian government has chosen a policy of weakness, restraint, and appeasement instead of standing firmly and unequivocally with the Israeli government,” the statement said. This ministry is under the management of “Amikhai Shikli”, the hard-line minister of the Likud party.
The statement also accused Canberra of “appeasement with the enemies of Western civilization”.
It continues: “All reports, research and data available to the Department of Jewish Immigrant Affairs show that Australia is among the Western countries that have seen one of the sharpest and most alarming increases in anti-Semitic incidents since October 7.”
The ministry added: “Repeated warnings, requests and attempts to interact with the authorities have met with a wall of indifference time and time again, while the government continues the policy of appeasement with jihadi elements and movements born of hatred, the destruction of Israel, and the denial of the Jewish people’s right to exist.”
